Sessions may draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, acceptance-based approaches, mindfulness, behavioral medicine, and relational work. Treatment is shaped around the person—not a rigid protocol.

Care is available in person in Monmouth County, New Jersey, with telehealth options for clients located in New York and PSYPACT-participating states when licensure, clinical fit, and availability align.

Consulting / Coaching

Focused guidance for parents, professionals, clinicians, health systems, and organizations seeking science-backed support through complex transitions.

Consultation and coaching may support parent adjustment, clinician case consultation, health-system program design, caregiver support, executive transitions, or time-limited problem solving. These services are distinct from psychotherapy and are scoped clearly at the outset.

Session Fees

Current rates are discussed directly during the initial consultation. Reduced-fee services may be available on a limited basis for financial hardship.

Insurance

Dr. Pensak is an out-of-network provider. Payment is due at the time of service, and a superbill can be provided for possible reimbursement.

Cancellation

At least 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee.
